Technical Introduction


High Efficiency Graded Composite Desulfurization Tower is a new generation of ultra-low emission technology developed by KDPE independently and with full independent property rights. Aiming at the ultra-low emission of medium and high sulphur coal, this technology adopts graded composite desulfurization technology, uses different PH value absorbents and different mass transfer equipment in different areas of the desulfurization tower, and uses gas-liquid mixtures. The tray and spray layer are used as the mass transfer equipment at the front end of the contact, and the difference between the high concentration of the gas phase pollutants and the low concentration of the liquid phase is used as the mass transfer impetus to absorb most of the pollutant loads. At the same time, the lower pH limestone slurry is used to obtain better oxidation effect and gypsum quality. A new type of gypsum is used at the end of the gas-liquid contact. The high efficiency film liquid holding layer is used as a mass transfer device. The fresh limestone slurry with separate circulation is used as an absorbent. With its high pH value, the SO can absorb more fully and achieve deep desulphurization. At the same time, the new membrane liquid holding layer is used for foam washing to achieve high efficiency dust removal.




Under the condition that the sulfur content of coal is more than 2.4%, KDPE high-efficiency and graded composite desulfurization tower technology achieves a single desulfurization efficiency of more than 99.5% and a sulfur dioxide emission concentration of less than 20 mg/Nm3. At the same time, compared with the tandem tower process, the graded composite desulfurization tower technology has significantly reduced the initial investment, operation energy consumption and operation cost.




On December 3, 2005, Huaneng Shanxi Zuoquan Thermal Power Plan Unit 2 600MW  FGD System Retrofit Project was successfully operated for 168 hours. Under the operating conditions of 6000-7000mg/Nm3 concentration of S02 at the inlet of desulfurization flue gas, all indexes met the ultra-low emission standard.
